Apple announced at the WWDC Developers Conference that it will drop iTunes from the new MacOS 10.15 operating system. Instead, three separate applications will appear: Podcasts, TV and Music.
The new apps have received colorful sidebars and a clear menu that is easier to navigate than iTunes, notes The Verge. The Music app will provide personalized recommendations to users, while TV will offer exclusive content from Apple as well as shows from third-party producers such as Showtime and HBO.
All previously purchased records and playlists created will be available in the new library.
