In Krasnodar, they tried to kill the video blogger, who assembled compromising evidence for the police

In Krasnodar, two unknown people attacked Vadim Kharchenko, the author of YouTube, Personal Opinion. He spoke about this in one of his videos.

According to Kharchenko, about two weeks ago, an unknown person called him from a hidden number. The man introduced himself as a police officer and said that he wanted to transfer a flash drive to the blogger with compromising evidence to colleagues. It should have been evidence that the Krasnodar police beat the detainees, throw drugs and draw up protocols on the innocent.

Kharchenko agreed to meet a man on June 1. On that day, the unknown called and said that he was urgently flying away from Krasnodar, so the only possible place for the meeting is Fadeeva Street near the airport. In the evening, Kharchenko came to the place of the appointed time, but the “policeman” never appeared. After waiting for about 15 minutes, the blogger went to the car.

According to Kharchenko, there are no parking spaces at the Fadeev Street chosen by a man, so the blogger had to park the car in the yard. When he moved to the car, someone called him by name. Kharchenko turned around and saw his raised hand. He later realized that there was a gun directed at him in his hand.

The attacker shot once, aiming at the face, but missed. After the second shot, which had already hit the body, Kharchenko ran to the unknown and knocked him down, a fight began. At that moment, someone hit the blogger with his foot in the right side, after which the first attacker shouted: “Cut it!” Kharchenko felt a stab in the liver area. The man with a knife went towards the blogger, he closed his hands and received another blow with a knife in his right hand.

Kharchenko managed to get into a fight with the second attacker, but the first stood up from the ground and shot a blogger in a shoulder blade, and also hit the handle on the head. After that, the attackers ran away, but managed to say Kharchenko: "Vadim, leave."

The blogger caught the car and drove to the hospital. There he was sewn up by wounds, but they did not provide other help. As a result, Kharchenko received three bullet and two stab wounds, as well as a wound on his head (probably from a handle blow). Three fingers on his right hand have not yet bend. In the video, the blogger published photos of all wounds.

A man connects an attack with his activities, but does not know who exactly could organize an attempt. Employees of the criminal investigation department have already contacted him.

• In 2017, Vadim Kharchenko had already been attacked. In the summer of 2018, the blogger was fired because of his videos. A month later, unknown people burned his car.
• In his video blog, Kharchenko criticizes power and talks a lot about political criminal cases, detention at public events, problems of the Krasnodar Territory and other regions.
