Novosibirsk: The head of the representative office of the Ministry of Defense reduced the term

In Novosibirsk, Chapter 628 of the military representative office of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Andrei Mikhailov reduced the deadline. Previously, he was found guilty of causing damage by 162 million rubles.

According to the investigation, Mikhailov, being responsible for receiving products at the Novosibirsk plant for the production of night vision devices, included additional expenses for the Criminal Code, advertising services and lawyers in the state contract with the plant. Mikhailov also illegally took the customer’s function to the representative office. As a result, the Ministry of Defense, the Russian Guard and the Ministry of Internal Affairs caused damage to 162 million rubles.

Mikhailov was found guilty of abuse of authority. He was threatened with a term of up to seven years, but was appointed 4.5 years.
