
In the case of the murder in the suburbs of the former fighter of the special forces of the GRU Nikita Belyankin, two suspects were detained. This was stated in the Investigative Committee of Russia.
The department refused to call the names of the detainees, saying only that these were men in 1977 and 1982. The role of each of them is established. Investigators claim that more than 50 witnesses have already interrogated in the case, and also conducted searches.
Belyankin died on June 1 near the village of Putilkovo, Moscow Region. According to eyewitnesses, he stood up for two passers -by whom the crowd beat. It is known that the special forces used a traumatic gun. Belyankin began to beat, and then stabbed a knife into the heart. The Investigative Committee adheres to the similar version of what happened.
The father of the deceased previously stated that most suspects of involvement in the murder had left for Armenia. Alexey Belyankin referred to the words of investigators who worked at the site of the fight. The Investigative Committee refused to comment on this information.
