All forest fires are extinguished in the Irkutsk region

Natural fires operating in the Irkutsk region are eliminated. There were no new foci. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.

On the eve of firefighters, two foci of fire with a total area of 1,689 hectares in the Nizhneilim and Chunsky districts were eliminated. Also on Monday in the region it was cold and rained.

Until Thursday, the high and extreme high classes of fire hazard in the forests will remain in the region. The region has a special fire regime that limits the stay of citizens in the forests, gives a ban on inciting bonfires, using open fire, burning dry vegetation and garbage.

In early May, the fire in the region came close to several villages of the Irkutsk region, in two of them the inhabitants were evacuated. One day was observed in Irkutsk.
