An Ingush activist was fined for participating in a rally. That day she was cleaning up trash in the square

The Magas District Court fined Anzhela Matieva, a representative of the Ingush Committee of National Unity, for participating in a rally in Magas in October 2018. About this writes "Kavkaz. Realities".

Under part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (participation in an unauthorized public event that interfered with the functioning of vital facilities), the activist was fined 10,000 rubles.

There was no evidence that Anzhela Matieva participated in the rally. The video shows that she was cleaning up the garbage that morning, there were no more people there. Cleaning was regarded as participation in the rally. We cited a lot of evidence of her innocence, but the judge ruled to bring her to administrative responsibility, imposing a minimum fine of 10,000 rubles,” lawyer Basir Ozdoev told the publication. He intends to appeal the court's decision.

In addition, a protocol was drawn up against a woman on disobedience to a police officer (part 1 of article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) due to the fact that during the celebration of Children's Day she refused to go with a law enforcement officer, as she was with children.

“On the presented video it was also clear that the police officer did not demand, but asked and offered Angela to go to the police department, she refused. During the trial, I filed a motion to recognize the act as insignificant. The petition was granted and the case was dismissed,” the lawyer said.

Earlier, the Supreme Court of Ingushetia upheld the decision of the Malgobek city court, which recognized the legal dismissal of Matieva from Ingushneft. She herself believes that she was fired because of her civic position.
