In Sochi, a drunk policeman hit two girls at a pedestrian crossing

In Sochi, the Department of the Investigative Committee for the Krasnodar Territory began a pre-investigation check of a local police officer who, while drunk while driving a car, hit two girls at a pedestrian crossing, according to the department’s website.

According to preliminary data, on the evening of June 10, a policeman driving a Toyota Mark X, driving along Kurortny Prospekt, did not give way to two 16-year-old girls and, without slowing down, hit them at a pedestrian crossing.

“The girls with various injuries were taken to a medical facility, where they are receiving medical care,” reports the Investigative Committee.

After the accident, the policeman fled the scene, but was soon found. A medical examination revealed that he was intoxicated.
