12 Omsks declared a hunger strike against the arbitrariness of the regional authorities on the day of Russia

On June 12, 12 residents of Omsk and the Omsk region began a three -day warning hunger strike. The notification about it was sent to the presidential administration, the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and the regional government.

Among the starving are rural imams, human rights activists, a former Chernobyl and rural deputies. Their requirements are also different, but it unites all these people that they were desperate to seek the truth and justice in the authorities.

“I turned to all instances,” says Imam in the village of South Yermek Meirmanov. - There are no answers or unsubscribing: no one wants to deal with the falsifications in my son’s business. He has been serving a term for the third year. Now in the regional court the case on a new prosecution is listening: there are five criminal articles at once and no evidence of his guilt.

The case, more precisely, the affairs of Azamat Meirmanov, “New” wrote more than once: from the victim in the case of torture in the police, he became the accused in five criminal articles. Azamat and six more local residents were abducted by the district police and tortured for a week, demanding that they recognize the murder, but did not achieve the desired. His father Ermek Meirmanov called the reception of the head of the IC of the Russian Federation and told about this monstrous case; After the call and requests of Novaya Gazeta, a criminal case was instituted against four police officers.

The Pavlograd District Court found them guilty in hundreds of episodes of beating and tortures of the villagers and imposed a conventional punishment for the accused.

Former orphanage Alexander Vasiliev, who testified with Azamat in court from the prosecution, was subsequently killed by 18 stab wounds (a 52-year-old disabled person of the 1 group of vision was convicted of his murder).

And in relation to the Azamat, new affairs were instituted. Now the young man, who at that time was 27 years old, is accused of raping a 58-year-old local resident.

This incident did not have witnesses, the victim himself, suffering from dementia, did not see the rapist - he recognized him only by his voice, being a hearing disabled person.

Ermack Meirmanov spent 300 thousand rubles on lawyers, and he no longer has a day. Now his son is defended by the lawyer for their intended purpose, but she is perplexed - how did law enforcement officers “sew 5 criminal cases from an empty place”?

The requirements of Ermk Meirmanov: to stop the criminal prosecution of the Azamat, to bring to real criminal liability employees of the Pavlograd police department and investigate the murder of Alexander Vasiliev.

The investigating authorities are addressed by the requirements of two more starving. The pensioner Lidia Kargapolova has been punishing the murderers of his daughter Ilona for more than 20 years (the last time the investigation resumed a year and a half ago, but the point did not move from the dead). One of the oldest Omsk human rights activists-75-year-old Valentin Kuznetsov-after he removed the territory of the Chinese town from the quadrocopter, was beaten by unknown persons and kept the police in the presence of more than 4 hours in the presence of police officers who chose not to intervene in this matter.

More than six months have passed since this incident, but the criminal case has not been instituted.

Locals call the “Chinese town” the territory in the village of Omsk, where it is planned to place 3,500 Chinese who will come to modernize the oil pipeline. Local residents are sharply against such a neighborhood. The starving requires the authorities to hold a referendum on the construction of the “Chinese town” and execute the decisions of federal supervisory authorities prohibiting the construction of this residential complex on agricultural lands.

Another member of the hunger strike-pensioner-law enforcement officer Alexander Zenyuk-defends the rights of all veterans of the Omsk region, from which three years ago by the decision of the lawying assembly, an additional payment for a pension of 500 rubles was taken away.

The famous human rights activist - a disabled person of the 1st group Dmitry Schekotov - is in charge of urgent social assistance, which the Omsk authorities refuse to provide him, despite two court decisions obliging them to do this. The 77-year-old wheelchair user, devoid of vision, remains only to starve.

The participant in the liquidation of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, Sergei Mitrofanov, demands from the regional reservoir to appoint him a disability group due to the law. The commission that determined her did not establish the relationship of his hearing and vision diseases with radiation, although the radiation dose received in two months-11.7 X-ray corresponds to the 23rd permissible annual norms.

Three rural deputies take part in the hunger strike - Irina Drozdova, Ivan Pylev, Anton Nikolaev, all from the suburban Trinity settlement. They demand “initiating a criminal case on theft of local residents of funds”, collected by them three years ago for the nonsense not carried out. By the way, the owner of the territory of the “Chinese town” Mr. Cardonis “spent” it, whose name is not known exactly (for example, three different ones are named in the decision of the district court-Oleg, Andrei, Alexander): for some reason it is hidden by the district leadership and law enforcement agencies.

The hunger strike is carried out on the territory of the dawn sanatorium, and a number of requirements of the protesters refers to the preservation of this unique rehabilitation center, which receive a chance for healing children with disabilities recognized as incurable state medicine. Dawn patients demand to stop its “administrative destruction” and execute the decision of the OFAS, who recognized the fact of discrimination of the rehabilitation center.

When a leading specialist in kinesiotherapy ( treatment - approx. Ed. ) Valid Isanov, who acts with lectures in Oxford, Paris and London, came to Omsk a week ago, she was extremely surprised at the “dawn” of the regional authorities: “Instead of spreading this unique experience throughout the country, it is deliberately destroyed.”

In case of non -fulfillment of the stated requirements (in total 19) until June 20, participants in the action reserve the right to "declare an unlimited hunger strike."
