The body of a district police officer with a gunshot wound was found at a police station in the village of Kanevskaya, Krasnodar Territory, Yugopolis reports , citing the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the publication, the policeman was found dead on June 13 around 17:00. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee began inspections.

The preliminary cause of death of the policeman has not been announced. Krasnodar RBC, without indicating sources of information, clarifies that the deceased’s name is Sergei Zhukov.
