According to Rosneft, the Reuters agency is engaged in “total surveillance” and hacks the accounts of the head of the company Igor Sechin and his family on social networks. This was reported by RNS with reference to the company’s statement, which it made after the agency’s publication about the flights of Rosneft corporate aircraft.
“The information published by the “agency” contains clear signs of total surveillance using technologies of special services, with the hacking of closed accounts on social networks not only in relation to the chief executive officer of the Rosneft company I.I. Sechin, but also members of his family and even their entourage, which is an interference both in the official activities of the company and in private life, the inviolability of which is guaranteed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation,” Rosneft believes.
Rosneft insists that Sechin’s employment agreement stipulates that he and his family are provided with transportation on business trips and vacations. The company is considering the issue of “judicial protection of violated rights” due to the publication.
Today, Reuters reported 290 flights of Rosneft corporate jets from January 2015 to May 2019. The agency notes that 96 of these flights took place on weekends or holidays. For example, during this time, corporate jets flew eight times to Sardinia (Italy), 15 times to the Maldives, seven times to Palma de Mallorca (Spain).
At the same time , Reuters noticed that Sechin’s relatives published photographs from the same places where corporate planes were flying at that time.
