“Iran did this, and you know what he did, as you saw the ship,” the president said, referring to the video and the statement that the official representative of the central command of the US Armed Forces, Captain Bill Urban distributed on Thursday. In the video, the US military asserted, it is captured how faces from the Iranian ship of the Islamic Revolutionary Corps (Ksir) remove the unexploded mine from the side of the Kokuka Couraageus tanker, who was attacked in the Gulf of Oman, TASS reports.

From the point of view of Trump, this video completely exposes Iran in what happened. At the same time, the head of state warned that the United States "perceive this [attack on tankers] not with a slight heart." “This is a country of terrorism, and they have changed a lot from the moment I became president,” Trump added.

Germany stated that the video referred to by the American side is not enough to blame Tehran. “The video is not enough. Of course, we can understand what they show, but for the final assessment this is not enough for me,” said German Foreign Minister Haiko Maas.

He also condemned the attack on tankers. “This is not only a threat to free trade, it is a threat to the world,” added Maas.

In turn, the European Union and China urged all parties to show restraint in assessing the current situation, the Voice of America reports.

On June 13, in the Oman Gulf on two tankers, after the alleged attack using torpedoes and magnetic mines, explosions and fires occurred. The crew of the Japanese vessel Kokuka Courageous took the destroyer of the US Navy Bainbridge, and the team of the Norwegian tanker Front Altair, including the Russians, the Iranian border guards evacuated to their port Dzhask.

The United States has liable for the incident on Iran, they were supported by the UK and Saudi Arabia. Iran Foreign Ministry rejected these accusations.

At the same time, Tehran had formed to block the strategically important Ormuzian Strait connecting the Oman and Persian bays. Through the strait, 20% of all oil consumed in the world is transported.
