The apartment of the coordinator of the "Left Front" in the Volga Federal District Sergei Padalkin was searched in a criminal case. This was reported on the website of the "Left Front".
Padalkin is also the editor of the website of the Penza "Left Front". The search warrant was issued by the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of the city of Penza on May 30. The search was carried out as part of a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code with the application of Article 30 of the Criminal Code (an attempt to deliberately damage property), the victim is a former FSB officer, a member of the public council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs Alexander Tuzov.
According to the prosecution, someone threw a Molotov cocktail through the window of the house where Tuzov lives. The bottle broke the glass, but the liquid in it did not ignite from the burning wick.
According to Padalkin, law enforcement officers came to him at 6:30 in the morning:
“At that time, we were all still sleeping… Three police officers came with a search warrant and two attesting witnesses. In the “Instruction on the performance of certain investigative actions”, it was written that “according to the available operational information, at the place of residence of Padalkin S.S., there may be substances with which a flammable liquid is made, as well as items prohibited and limited in circulation on the territory of the Russian Federation ".
During the search, two laptops were seized, one of which belongs to Padalkin's child. At the same time, a former employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and an employee of a certain “Operational Youth Squad of Vigilantes” were witnesses at the event, the police brought both of them with them.
