Tyumenka Yana Gribenyuk is 33 years old, and it is chained to a wheelchair: in early childhood, doctors found a genetic disease - spinal atrophy. Despite this, Yana, together with her husband, is successfully engaged in the Relter business, leads the apartments, opened a manicure interior, and recently organized a charity fund for helping sick children.
Yana works from morning until late in the evening. But in her dense schedule, she found time to tell the correspondent of the publication "Siberia. Real" about how a person with disabilities to overcome any obstacles and live in full.

-There is such a concept-an “affordable environment”, that is, it means that a person with disabilities feels more or less comfortable in the urban space. How do you feel in this sense in Tyumen?
- 15 years ago we moved to Tyumen from Ugra to a new absolute house, it was only handed over. Moreover, they passed before the launch of the elevator. We lived on the fourth floor. For several months, I didn’t leave home anywhere. It was in winter, so it was not so sad. When the elevator was launched by spring, she began to go out with her mother. I met the guys in the district.
Then there was not a single bus for the disabled in the city, we walked on foot from our street Shcherbakov to the center. One and a half hours in one direction. Young, I wanted to walk, there wasn’t much and there was nothing in the area: neither cafes nor other entertainment. The girls and I will gather at one in the afternoon, and at two in the morning back. They are on foot, and I'm in a stroller. Now much still has changed for the better, from anywhere in the city a disabled person in a stroller can somehow leave.
- And how do you deal with our sidewalks?
- Well, got used to it. If not by car with my husband, then I am building a route in advance where and how to drive. In some places, underground crossings appeared and even with lifts. I tried to use one. But this was all for a long time, I had to call the operator of this lift, wait for it, somehow coped. But most often it is not even clear where to look for these operators. All this is still not thought out, of course. But in general, there are places in Tyumen, where everything for a person with disabilities is already arranged well, much better in any case than before.
- You are engaged in business, you probably have to visit different institutions - tax, etc. Can you get in a stroller everywhere?
- Now they even made all the MFCs with ramps, with low rapids, you can get. My husband goes to the tax office by proxy. Everything is the same there. Sberbank, any other banks where we were, is available everywhere. But in a good way, all buses, minibuses should be with special such folding pieces. And drivers must be able to use it all and help disabled people. We do not have this. At our station, too, for example, nothing is adapted to us. There are ramps in some places there, but they are made more under mothers. They are cool. I will not go anywhere in this stroller. Only this scares me away from some trips by train.
But I never be shy about asking people for help, if that. I do not panic. I am sociable and can be bold.
I will go out in the middle of the road and stop any man by car and say: I need to help
- Where does this come from?
- Maybe I just had to fight this limitedness. Of course, I actually be more afraid and struggle with myself in this sense. Even in business: sometimes I’m scared to talk with cool customers, it seems to me that I’ll call now and I’ll say it, I’ll not answer. At the same time, I begin to talk to myself: so, Yana, after five minutes of conversation everything will end and fall into place, call. And so in any situation. Campaigns to the dentist, negotiations, ask someone. Even if I'm scared and ashamed inside, I take it and do it.
And sometimes you can ask about something, people are not ashamed. Last year, I wanted to get to the football semifinals, ours played. Then everyone became patriots and praised their own. So I even wrote to the deputy, but I wrote late, at that time all the tickets were sold out.
- And to whom they wrote?
- Mironov, "Fair Russia". We have a little contact with him. When I had an operation in Finland, I asked him for support, and he helped me financially.
I was brought up correctly. Just so it is necessary to raise children with disabilities
- What kind of operation?
- By straightening the spine, in 2015. Well passed, I was pulled 13 cm. I will not have more curvature of the spine. This is to prevent the development of scoliosis with my diagnosis. Dear operation, 42 thousand euros cost.
- And how did you collect that kind of money?
- We opened the gathering, I wrote to all the deputies. And one fund helped me. And I withstood this operation. It lasted nine hours, completely cut from neck to tailbone, sawed so that the smoke went, in each vertebra, two screws screwed up. I endured everything.

- Do you consider yourself lucky?
- Certainly. Since childhood, in principle, everything turned out well. I grew up in a small village, I had a lot of friends. My first had a computer in the village. My mother was engaged in entrepreneurship. That is, it is very cool, can you imagine? The first computer in the village!
- Did you feel the hyperopeck of loved ones in childhood?
- My mother behaved as I would recommend to behave to all the parents of the disabled. Do not treat your child as flawed or, conversely, crystal. We need to be, on the contrary, in many respects more harden than others, to be prepared for real life in society, to be ready to stand up for yourself, to fight. Mom raised me and raised me. She helped me in everything, of course, but did nothing at my first desire and click. I grew just like all other healthy children in the village. And that's right. Therefore, I was ready for real life.
We had a river not far, I stopped there in a stroller. At the age of seven, my brother and my girlfriend went for a walk there. We could not go there. We go back, mothers stand. With twigs from a tree without leaves, so thin. Denis and Lenka saw, they threw me in a stroller and run, and I stayed. Well, my mother hit me, it hurt me, but not offense.
In general, when you have disability, you can very easily begin to regret yourself, become a selfish, assume that everyone owes you. Just give yourself a concess. And I did not give myself. And my friends knew it. In childhood, I was a member of all the then courtyard showdowns even. I was born in the 86th, that is, childhood-the nineties, when parents had to survive and the children were left to their own devices. And the customs were tough. And I participated on equal terms in all teenage showdowns.
Because since childhood I could not afford to be weak. I had to always adapt to this life, to its difficulties, and therefore a strong character was developed.
- Now you are engaged in business and are completely independent. But how does the state help you?
-I have a pension in the first group of disability, in general, about 17 thousand comes out. And now they gave me a wheelchair with a wheelchair. And if you buy it yourself, then this is 300 thousand rubles.

- Is this a sufficient state concern for people with disabilities?
- At each meeting of relatives and friends, we have this topic, we argue. In general, I do not support these conversations, I am a patriot, I am for Putin. I think it doesn’t matter what country you are in, how much the state pays you, if you yourself want, you can earn in such a way as to live with dignity. I do not believe when people say, we live poorly, poorly and differently. It all depends on you.
- So you took up entrepreneurship?
- Even when I was little, my friend and I took the apples of apples, got up at the store and sold. It was just fun. Yes, and then we then moved to Tyumen with my mother, everything was hard. Mom got a job as a seller, there was not enough money. But the matter is not only in money, I always wanted independence and be like everyone else. From my youth, I said that I would definitely kiss the boy, I will definitely get married, I will have everything like everyone else. And what about everyone? Everyone works, then I need. And to work in this position, I had to find myself. I studied for five years at the legal farm. And we began to write exchange rate and essays with a girlfriend together with a girlfriend. She then got a job, and I continued this business. I earned money. I accumulated a certain amount, and we made a repair of the house in the bathroom. Having met the builders, I realized that you can earn like this as an intermediary.
When we met my husband, and he began to help me with repairs, then they had already gathered his first brigade. This was the first experience of such a business. He is heavy. Often brigades were brought up, repairs - a nervous business, their hands sometimes dropped, many of my business colleagues were disappointed, and left this business. And I did not have a return road. I had to become independent, earn money, it turns out - it does not work, we are going further. As a result, my business repair business is now quite stable, we coped with everything.
"Mama, why are you? Do not swear, we will do everything." They call me a male
- And how did you decide to create a manicure salon?
- Here a friend motivated me more, she has a very cool master, he teaches others. So we have created a salon.
- How much would you like to earn?
- The insidious question. There is no much money. We have an apartment in a mortgage, the kitchen was issued on credit. If it turned out to be pure thousands of 300 thousand, probably in hand, it would be excellent.
- Does your husband call you a commander?
- Now I have a stroller on an electric drive, and I myself can be controlled with everything. And before, the usual was a stroller, but your hands are weak, you can’t move yourself, so “Mom, give”, “Grandma, bring”. This leaves an imprint when you are not only close, but also strangers in command form, you begin to say something. But that's not the point, of course. I have been in business for almost 10 years. And I bring men often. This produces a strong -willed, command character. I can be hard.
- And how do subordinates react?
- "Mama, why are you? Do not swear, we will do everything." They call me a male. With many on friendly relations, we can gather on birthdays. Do not just work together, but friends-colleags.
- You hired your administrator with the same diagnosis as yours.
- I believe that I should help people with the same problems. Moreover, only the Internet is needed for administrative work. In general, with the advent of the Internet, people with the disabilities of these very possibilities appeared much more. You can trade anything via the Internet - at least knitted socks, at least cakes. Also help advertise something, create pages, make posts. I have a friend of a friend with the same diagnosis now leads three groups on Instagram for money. This is cool. There would be a desire.
I like brave people, fearless. My husband is like that. He was not afraid. There were no barriers for him
- How is your usual day going?
- I work a lot. Lifting nine, drinking coffee, open a laptop and make repairs. I check the operations on bank accounts online. I call the masters at the facilities, make a report on the made, we plan a volume for this day. Three or four hours I can spend on this. In parallel in another business, in Rielter. There are also calls, conversations. Solving current issues. After four to five hours, I already get tired and go about my business. And in the evening again I can make an estimate or make a new report on the current work for the day. I would still like to do something, but there is not enough time. And I could master some online store, probably. I am resting for watching cinema and TV shows. We reviewed the whole "Marvel" with my husband.
- What is the most important for you in life?
- So that the family is fine. In work. I really love my work. I directly high when the object is completed and the customer is satisfied. But I also love vacation. I get enormous pleasure from a trip by car. Our vacation begins not when we are in Adler, but when you wake up at five in the morning and we must go. This is such a delight.
Many say they have depression. And I do not have depression. I rarely have a bad mood. Well, an hour, two, three. I am an optimist. In principle, everything is fine with me. Therefore, there were always many friends. Now, adult, I evaluate why children were drawn to me, to a sedentary girl? But they stretched.
I like brave people, fearless. My husband is like that. He was not afraid. There were no barriers for him. We met on the Internet. At the first meeting, I was so shocked: I don’t want to, I don’t like me. No, everything worked out. And I understand that in many ways and thanks to his fearlessness.
- Why did you decide to do a charitable project?
- You see, I had no problems with health. I had a diagnosis, he worsened my life, he progressed, but I was not sick. I rarely stood out, and in the spring I went on a motorcycle, they planted me in the cradle. In this regard, I led ordinary life. And there are many sick children who are inaccessible to no joy at all. I would like to do something for them. And in the fund for such children we collect money, gifts, something most necessary, we try to somehow color their lives. It is important to me. I always loved to give more than to receive.
