The court extended the home arrest of the deputy head of the clinic of Meshalkin Evgeny Kudshalov

The Central District Court in Novosibirsk extended on June 14 the term of home arrest for the deputy director of the Novosibirsk clinic named after Meshalkin Evgeny Kudshalov. The same measure of restraint was left to another person involved in the case Andrei Tretyakov.

According to the press service of the Central District Court, Kudshals and Tretyakov will remain under house arrest until August 19.

In 2019, the deputy director of the clinic, the famous doctor Evgeny Kudshalov, was accused of fraud (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and the legalization of funds (part 4 of article 174.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), he was first placed in jail, later he was sent under house arrest. The damage was reported about 1.3 billion rubles. The co -owners of Favorit LLC, who supplied medicines for the hospital, Evgeny Pervushin and Alexander Sorokin, as well as Andrei Tretyakov, were also suspected.

At the same time, the investigation did not give official comments on the essence of the accusations, the preventive measures were elected to the defendants. It is known that it concerns the procurement, in particular, pacemakers. It was brought up based on the FAS materials, which found a cartel conspiracy in the clinic.

By petitioning the arrest, the FSB investigator in February stated that the crime was committed in a “difficult economic situation”, and there were no special bracelets for house arrest.
