Megadeth frontman diagnosed with throat cancer

Vocalist and guitarist of the American metal band Megadeth Dave Mustaine announced on Facebook that doctors diagnosed him with throat cancer.

Mustaine, 57, said doctors have outlined a treatment plan that has already begun. According to the musician, doctors are 90% confident in the success of the therapy.

Due to the incident, Megadeth members canceled most of the concerts planned for 2019. At the same time, the group will continue to work on recording a new album.
