In the Moscow region, police came to a participant in the march on June 12 at his place of registration

Police officers in Podolsk came to the home at the place of registration of Timofey Gorchakov, a participant in the march on June 12 against the fabrication of criminal cases. Gorchakov himself told OVD-Info about this.

A policeman in uniform and two in civilian clothes—presumably employees of Center “E”—came to Gorchakov’s home early in the morning. At that moment, the activist’s father was in the apartment. According to him, law enforcement officers knocked hard on the door and shouted to let them in, which he did.

Once inside, the police officers inspected the apartment, also entered the rooms, photographed the premises and the activist’s father. After this, the unknown people in civilian clothes left the apartment, and a uniformed policeman, who turned out to be a local police officer, remained to talk with the father. The activist’s father did not specify what was discussed during the conversation. Before leaving, the policeman also drew up a protocol.

UPD 18:55 The police came to another person detained on June 12, living in the Podolsk region - Dmitry Kutuzov. He reported this to the OVD-Info hotline personally.

According to the young man, he did not open the door and did not talk to the police. Police officers contacted the owner of the apartment where Kutuzov lives and said that they wanted to “come visit and talk.”

• Investigative journalist Ivan Golunov was accused of trying to sell drugs. During the first days after Golunov's arrest, journalists and activists held pickets in his defense. On June 11, the case was dropped , but they decided not to cancel the action planned in Moscow in support of Golunov. Its participants demanded an investigation into fabricated criminal cases, reform of Article 228 and the release of innocent people.
• In total, according to OVD-Info, at least 530 people were detained during the uncoordinated march on June 12 in Moscow. Among those detained, according to Meduza, are about forty journalists. A protocol was drawn up against Timofey Gorchakov, as well as against the majority of participants in the action, under Part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (participation in an uncoordinated action that resulted in interference with the movement of pedestrians and transport).
