
The South Korean company Kia at a special event in Delhi presented the SELTOS crossover, which will be sold in Russia and will compete with the popular Hyundai Creta model.
The car, named after the mythological ancestor of the Celts, will be located in the KIA line between Soul and Sportage models. In the appearance of the new crossover, the wide grille of the radiator “Tiger Smile”, LED daytime running lights, fog lights and rear lights, as well as 3D-indicators of turning pointers, RBC writes, draws attention.
The list of engines that will be equipped with a new model includes a 1.6-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 177 horsepower, a 2-liter 150-horsepower gasoline atmospheric, as well as a 1.6-liter diesel engine and a capacity of 136 horsepower. A pair of these engines will be composed of a six -speed automatic gearbox, a seven -diapas "robot" with two clutches or a variator.
As for the interior of the machine, a 10.25 inch screen of the multimedia system will be installed in the cabin. The option list includes an audio system Bose and an 8-inch projection display.
The standard equipment of Kia Seltos includes a dynamic stabilization system and track control. Also, the future owners will have access to a help system about touching the rise, front and rear parking sensors and a function of helping with emergency braking.
KIA SELTOS sales in some countries will begin in the second half of this year, and this crossover will reach the Russian market in 2020.
