The court returned the report on Navalny to the police to eliminate shortcomings

The Khoroshevsky District Court of Moscow returned the protocol in the administrative case against Alexei Navalny to the police to correct the shortcomings. It is reported by Interfax.

“By a court ruling, the materials on the administrative protocol in respect of Navalny were returned to the Department of Internal Affairs for the Strogino district of Moscow to eliminate shortcomings that prevent it from being considered by the court,” Interfax quoted the press service of the court as saying.

The report on Navalny was drawn up on June 12 after he was detained at a rally in support of Ivan Golunov. The oppositionist was charged with a repeated violation of the rules for holding a public event (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

• On June 12, a march against the fabrication of criminal cases took place in the center of Moscow. Initially, the event was planned as a march in support of Meduza correspondent Ivan Golunov, who was accused of selling drugs. However, the charges against him were dropped the day before, so the agenda was changed. As a result, according to OVD-Info, at least 530 people were detained on the march.
