Russia will offer Huawei a replacement for Android

Communications Minister Konstantin Noskov confirmed talks with Huawei on the possible use of the Russian Aurora OS, writes RIA Novosti. The Bell first reported on this last week. Noskov said on Thursday that the agency had met with China's Huawei and was continuing talks on cooperation. Today, Deputy Minister Mikhail Mamonov revealed the details: the use of the Aurora by the Chinese is being discussed.

Quote. “We have just agreed (with Huawei) that we will start this work. That is, for us, the fact that our developments are recognized at the highest level is not devoid of interest. The first negotiations will take place before the beginning of this autumn,” Mamonov said.
