The organizers were the Libertarian Party of Russia and the independent trade union of journalists.
The shares allowed by the authorities were held in Kaliningrad, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, the cities of the Far East and Siberia.
In Vladivostok, the participants in the action demanded a full investigation in the case of the Medusa correspondent Ivan Golunov. They collected signatures under the appeal to the head of the Investigative Committee and the prosecutor general of Russia.
The pickets also took place in Khabarovsk, Novokuznetsk, Omsk, Saratov, Kaliningrad. About 200 people, according to the unregistered Libertarian Party, reached a rally in Nizhny Novgorod, the newspaper Vedomosti writes.
