On Sunday, rallies and pickets against political repressions and fabrication of criminal cases under the slogan "Society requires justice" were held in Moscow and another 12 cities of Russia. As noted on the website of the event, the action was organized against the backdrop of the resonant case of journalist Ivan Golunov. The organizers were the Libertarian Party of Russia and the independent trade union of journalists.

The shares allowed by the authorities were held in Kaliningrad, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, the cities of the Far East and Siberia.

In Vladivostok, the participants in the action demanded a full investigation in the case of the Medusa correspondent Ivan Golunov. They collected signatures under the appeal to the head of the Investigative Committee and the prosecutor general of Russia.

The pickets also took place in Khabarovsk, Novokuznetsk, Omsk, Saratov, Kaliningrad. About 200 people, according to the unregistered Libertarian Party, reached a rally in Nizhny Novgorod, the newspaper Vedomosti writes.

The Moscow authorities agreed on the event. A coordinated rally was held on Sakharov Avenue. According to the Kommersant newspaper, according to the results, a resolution was adopted, which, among other things, contains the requirement to cancel Art. 282 (excitement of hatred or enmity) and 228 (storage and sale of drugs) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, amnesty all convicts under these articles, carry out lustration against those who investigated and condemned on these articles.

According to the correspondent of the publication, about 5 thousand people came to the beginning of the action, people continue to approach. The White counter reports that 3.9 thousand people came to the rally. The police reported 1.8 thousand participants. The OVD-Info project notes that through the framework they did not allow activists with posters in support of the detainees in Shies and against the export of garbage from Moscow to other regions.

In St. Petersburg, the administration failed to agree. The city hosts a holiday of graduates of schools "Scarlet Sails". At the Ministry of Internal Affairs in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, they promised to strictly stop violations of law and order.
