On June 27, the Angara An-24 plane made an emergency landing in Nizhneangarsk due to the engine failure, rolled out of the runway and crashed into the building. As a result of the disaster, two people died - the aircraft commander and the sorcerer. The Interstate Aviation Committee (MAC) has formed a commission to investigate the disaster.

On the morning of Thursday, June 27, the An-24 aircraft with an on-board number 47366 Angara airline flew out of Ulan-Ude and followed Nizhneangarsk. On board, according to the website of the airline itself, there were 43 passengers and 4 crew members. At 10.24 local times, the board made an emergency landing at the airport of Nizhneangarsk.

According to preliminary information, in the region of 30 kilometers from the airport, right in the air, one of the engines refused the car. During an emergency landing, the plane drove out of the runway of 100 meters, and crashed into the building of treatment facilities, and then caught fire. Almost immediately, video from cameras at the airport appeared on the Internet, as well as videos shot by eyewitnesses and passengers of the An-24.

In the collision, the aircraft commander, pilot inspector Vladimir Kolomin and Bortmeikhanik Oleg Bardanov died. The second pilot Sergey Sazonov and the flight attendant Elena Laputskaya were not injured. All 43 passengers (among them are one child) who were on board were evacuated. According to various sources, from 30 to 20 people turned to medical help. The number of hospitalized after the disaster has grown to nine people, said the press secretary of the head of the Republic of Buryatia Alexei Fishev.

The deputy chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, the plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation to the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev instructed the leadership of the region to support the families of the dead and assistance to the victims. So, 400 thousand rubles will be allocated to the victims with medium -sulcurrency injuries, and 500 thousand rubles will be paid to relatives of the dead pilot and equipment. The rest of the passengers of compensation will be paid depending on the medical report.

According to the interlocutors of the “new”, the crew can be called very experienced: the commander of Vladimir Kolomin was 34 years old, the total raid of the clock was more than 15 thousand. The second pilot is Sergey Sazonov, work experience is 20 years, and the total raid of the watch is 6 thousand. The deceased flight mechanic was 35 years old, and a raid 13 thousand, the flight attendant Elena Laputskaya has been working for 16 years.

The carrier operates passenger flights in the Irkutsk region, to other regions of the Siberian Federal District, as well as charter flights. The airline has been owned by the side that has suffered today since 2013. According to the website Russianplanes.net, this aircraft from 1977 to 1991 worked as an aircraft laboratory. The certificate of flight fit was valid until July 28, 2019.

The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of railway, air, sea and internal water transport and the subway"). In addition, a specially created commission of the Interstate Aviation Committee (MAC) will be sorted out in the causes of the disaster. As the Federal Air Transport Agency previously clarified, representatives of the government agency also participate in the work of the special MAC commission.

Andrei Kramarenko, senior researcher at the Institute of Transport and Transport Policy of the Higher School of Transport and Transport Policy, believes that while the commission has not even made preliminary conclusions, it is impossible to look for a subtext from this disaster. “The reason in such cases is most often a combination of factors: there may be a state of the strip, and the condition of the car, the action of the crew, and there may be each of them, it is too early to talk about it,” Kramarenko noted.

An-24-“this is a machine from the previous era”, which “cracks and rummages”, but so far this type of aircraft is one of the most massive products of the Soviet aircraft industry, of those that are still in use.

So, for example, according to the transport clearing chamber, in 2017, 709 thousand people were transported throughout Russia, and 778 thousand were transported in 2016. “At the same time, they do not fall clusters, so this is a certain indicator of reliability,” says Andrei Kramarenko.

According to TASS, since 2010, five disasters have occurred with the An-24 (excluding an emergency on June 27, 2019), in which a total of 73 people died.
