The pianist will record the disk at the company "Melody" and receive a cash prize of $ 1000, an interview with the pianist will appear in the journal "Musical Life".
The award ceremony will be held on July 10 in the small hall of the Moscow Concert Hall "Zaryadye".
Andrei Gugnin (b. 1987) graduated from the Moscow Conservatory (Vera Gornostaeva class), since 2016 it has been improving at the International Piano Academy on Lake Como under the leadership of Stanislav Yudenich and William Grant.
Laureate of many international competitions, including the J. Bahauer pianists competition in Salt Lake City (2014), the C. Stanchich contest in Zagreb (2011), Beethoven’s competition in Vienna (2013), the International Piano Competition in Sydney (2016).
He collaborated with the Symphony Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the State Country of Russia named after E.F. Svetlanova, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Dutch Symphony Orchestra, ASKO Schönberg ensemble, Jerusalem Camerata and Camerata Salzburg .
