The results of the All -Russian Competition contest were summed up

The jury of the All -Russian contest of Avanti composers called the laureates of the second season.
According to the website of the competition , this year the organizers received more than 200 applications from Astrakhan, Perm, Novosibirsk, Surgut and other cities. The jury consisting of composers Sergei Slonimsky (chairman), Yuri Vorontsov, Kuzma Bodrov, Anton Tanonov, as well as musicologists Ildar Khannanov and Anatoly Tsucer, determined the winners in four categories:
Essay for one or two tools
- Laureate I degree - Vera Ivanova (Moscow), “alphabet of a laughing person” for a flute and piano;
- Laureate of the II degree-Denis Pisarevsky (Moscow ) , “Be-la” for piano;
- Laureate of the II degree-Alexei Mylnikov (St. Petersburg), "in the classic interior" for violin and piano;
- Laureate of the III degree - Valery Skobelkin (Republic of Bashkortostan), “Chud Zavolzhskaya” for piano.
- Laureate of the III degree-Igor Kholopov (Moscow), sonata for a saxophone alta and piano.
Essay for a chamber ensemble
- Laureate I degree - Grigory Zaitsev (Moscow), “In the Cave of Lasko” for four flute;
- Laureate of the II degree - Elena Anisimova (Republic of Tatarstan), variations for the brass quintet;
- Laureate of the III degree - Valery Skobelkin (Republic of Bashkortostan), "Breath of the Crystal Castle" for flute quintet.
Works with voice (choir)
- Laureate I degree - not awarded;
- Laureate of the II degree - Elena Poplyanova (Chelyabinsk), “Ball” (poem for female voice according to M. Tsvetaeva);
- Laureate of the III degree - Alina Podzorova (Moscow ) , "Petenera" for flute, soprano, cello, piano and harp;
- Laureate of the III degree - Andrey Komissarov (Moscow), three scenes from the Oratorio "Seraphim".
Essay involving ethnic tools
- Laureate of the I degree - Grigory Zaitsev (Moscow), “Russian counterpoint” for the quintet of Russian folk instruments;
- Laureate of the II degree-Denis Chorov (Moscow ) , Spanish dance “Doce Uvas” (“Twelve Vinogradins”) for violin, cello, tenor-saxophone, accordion and piano;
- Laureate of the III degree - Ilya Karpikov (Kirov), “Reene Magritt's Dreams” for keyboards.
The writings of the laureates will be heard on September 30 at a concert in the small hall of the Moscow Conservatory, which will be recorded by the company "Melody". The Publishing House "Composer" will publish the scores of the winners of Avanti .
Members of the Union of Composers of Russia participate in the Avanti competition. The purpose of the competition is the development and strengthening of composer organizations in the regions, the stimulation of composer creativity and promoting the works of Russian composers.
