- When did you find out that the criminal case is being prepared?
- I only suspected, I did not know for sure. For two years now they requested all sorts of documents, the FSB basically active. At first, the documents were requested a year ago, then, not finding anything decent, documents in three years. For several months they transported with these papers and requested for ten years all of our counterparties, banks, partners. Probably, in April it already became clear to me that there was an intention. Then they seized this case with Panabel from PWC and went to chew it. We thought, of course, that the case was some kind of very weak, surprised-that they decided to catch here?
“But you still realized that the criminal case will be built on this case?” What made you think so?
- Well, just by the enthusiasm with which they clung to this business. So there is nothing in it: how can one recognize a fictitious deal within the company? We make restructuring, transfer the company [Rolf Estit] from one of its “daughter” to another. Why should we do this fictitious? Obviously, they have a desire to use this case with Panabel as an excuse, and then digging something more sensible. The logic is: well, how, in a large company, so that we do not find anything.
- Why do you think that so far this is only an excuse?
- This is evidenced by a large number of excessive actions [investigators]. Why, if they have everything, arrange searches in twelve apartments [company managers], in all branches, everywhere? [Including] my mother has 90-year-old. People with machine guns came to her! The nurse testified for several hours.
- You went abroad in April?
- No, before. I have not been living in Russia for two years or more. In Russia, it became completely, from all points of view, uncomfortable. My move gradually took place. At first I liked living in Vienna. He began to ride often, stay longer. Then they seize local affairs, local business - and gradually grow. Sons in America and England, and while I am here, I ride in Europe: the other day I was going to Amsterdam, I recently been in Riga, I gave a lecture.
- Why did you, Lukovetskaya, Kairo and Kafkalia, became the accused in the criminal case? After all, Lukovetskaya does not even work in the company?
- They accused those who in 2014, when this deal was carried out, was in positions. I am with these people, which means that I abducted everything - I myself falsified everything for myself. Tatyana Lukovetskaya in Spain was at that time [when it was announced the case against the Rolf group], of course, will not return. Kafkalia - Cypriot. Kairo was a financial director, and he accidentally ended up at that moment in the country. Now we will try to pull it out.
- What do your lawyers say?
- Lawyers are the same people like everyone else. They say that the judge will make such a decision that they will tell him, we do not have a court. Lawyers say that you need to look for who the customer, and so on - they are generally more than the work, the better. But I think we have a chance, if the public is on our side, the press. With your help, we will seek an answer from the Investigative Committee. Why, if any transactions seemed suspicious to him, does he not ask us about them? Now we can’t even transfer them to the independent assessment of this transaction [the purchase of Rolf Estit ”].
- And by the way, who is the customer? You can assume that in this way someone takes the company from you?
- No, this is a side effect. They [those who organized criminal prosecution] do not know how to do business, manage such a low -margin business - even more so. All they can destroy.
“But you said that buyers addressed you, who was it?”
-These were some obscure people with non-Russian surnames like Bakirov. Not to me personally, but to members of the board. As soon as we learned that in the past these people were engaged in raiding, communication did not resume. People and I do not talk with such reputation rails, so we did not enter into negotiations with them.
- And the political component can be in business? You were a deputy from “Fair Russia”, made statements that Alexei Navalny seemed to you a promising politician, did not vote for the annexation of Crimea and the “Yarovaya Law” .
- This is absolutely connected with my political activity. Not because I helped someone-I did not help anyone. Well, that is, I do not think that I should make excuses, I did not help terrorists.
- So helped or did not help?
- When he was engaged in politics, he helped everyone. I was in the Fair Russia faction, but did not join the party. I immediately told them that I actually liberally, but if there is nothing more suitable, I will stay with you. There were contradictions, but as long as he was engaged in politics, he helped them. But to others: those who fight corruption, who fight for pluralism, for the separation of powers, for some European path. Who has their own opinion. I helped everyone in a row so that there was no authoritarian system, in which only mustache and degradation. And after he left, he did not help anyone.
- What about Navalny? Your opinion has not changed about him?
- Not changed. I [now] and Navalny is seen as a promising figure, and Zyuganov - if only there was a replacement. The victory of liberalism for me is not Navalny’s victory, but a victory in the honest election of the one who will win. Most likely, it will not even be Navalny, but some Zyuganov or a Nazi at all, but it will be honest elections. And people, without any Surnov and Volodins , seeing their mistakes, in four years will be able to draw conclusions themselves. At least some movement and training will go, a set of political experience.
-Do you have any forecast on the case?
- Yes, it's hard to say. The matter is so rudely worked out that it reminds me of your [Special Room Medusa, against which the case was falsified] Golunov with drugs. In this regard, maybe there is hope. Even rougher than the matter [the former owner of the Yukos oil company Mikhail] Khodorkovsky: there, in the first case [out of two] at least some unpaid taxes appeared. And here-I just want to wait from the SK at least some explanation. How do they see it? How are their eyes arranged?
