“Rubin” will change the club logo for the fifth time in seven years
Kazan "Rubin" will start the new football season with an updated logo. For the club from Tatarstan, this change of logo will be the fifth in the last seven years, reports Sport Business Online .
The key change is color. Now the logo will be monochromatic and can be made in three colors on different sets of uniforms: black on a white uniform, ruby on a white background on a ruby uniform, and green on a white background on a green uniform.
It is noted that the club has planned a large-scale rebranding. The Kazan team has already started placing the new logo on the facades of buildings, fences, in the interior of the base and the fan shop.
Previously, such steps by the club’s management caused indignation among fans, who asked not to mock the history and traditions of the team , but it seems that Kazan fans have already become accustomed to such changes.
The logo change is an initiative of the sponsor Rubin. The rebranding was planned last year, and work on a new logo began when the club came under the management of the company in 2017.
