- Only one Russian film, T-34, made it into the top 10 films by box office receipts in 2019. It took second place with a total collection of 2.3 billion rubles and more than 9 million viewers. First place remains with Avengers: Endgame (3 billion rubles, 10 million viewers), and third place goes to the cartoon How to Train Your Dragon 3 (1.8 billion rubles, 8 million viewers).
- In the first six months of 2019, Russians spent 28.7 billion rubles on movie tickets, which is 4.8% more than in the same period last year, according to the state Cinema Fund. This is about 113 million tickets.
