WADA identified suspicious doping tests in 298 Russian athletes

The World Anti-Doping Agency has suspected 298 Russian athletes of violating anti-doping rules after checking the data provided by the Moscow laboratory.

Of the 578 samples belonging to these athletes, 150 samples from 43 athletes have already been analyzed. Their cases have already been referred to the respective international federations for final decisions.

• In September 2018, WADA reinstated the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) in its rights. Submitting all suspicious samples for rechecking and providing WADA experts with access to the database of the Moscow laboratory were named as mandatory conditions.
