Killer doctors and the almighty SK

The lion's share of everything that Russian investigators do is either not a crime or does not need professional investigation

The Investigative Committee found two more murderers of the century in Russia. They turned out to be acting. Kaliningrad maternity hospital No. 4 Elena Belaya and resuscitator Elina Sushkevich.

According to the latest version of the investigation, Elena Belaya ordered, and Elina Sushkevich killed, on her order, a premature baby weighing 700 grams, injecting him with a lethal dose of magnesium sulfate. They did this, according to the investigation, because Belaya believed that the child would not survive anyway. Therefore, she did not want to spoil the reporting of the maternity hospital.

To begin with, a little educational program, for which I thank a number of my acquaintances of doctors and especially pediatrician Mikhail Mirer - he is in charge of the pediatrics department at an American hospital.

Killing with magnesium sulfate is stupid. Magnesium sulfate is the most common magnesium. If magnesium sulfate was found in the corpse of a baby, then most likely it got there from the mother, who was given it during childbirth, if she had pressure.

With the same success, the investigator could write that they tried to kill the child with aspirin.

Second. Initially, the plot of the investigation was different. According to her, the killer doctors with criminal intent did not give the child surfactant. Only when it turned out that the surfactant was given, they switched to magnesium.

Over the past 30 years, neonatology has made tremendous strides. Back in the 90s in Moscow, children born at the 26-28th week of pregnancy (not to mention the 23-24th) were called "late miscarriage." And it was impossible to do anything: it was impossible for these children to leave.

One of the drugs that allowed these children to survive was surfactant, a substance that keeps the lungs from collapsing. It was a breakthrough.

Thus, the fact that the surfactant was administered to the child completely refutes the version of the investigation about premeditated murder.

Third. The baby was born at 23–24 weeks with a weight of 700 grams to a mother who had already had two miscarriages before. Fetal survival at 23–24 weeks is minimal, even in the US. The probability that the child will have at least physical abnormalities is one hundred percent. 24 weeks is almost guaranteed bronchopulmonary dysplasia. This is retinopathy of prematurity - roughly speaking, blindness, and this is a ninety percent chance of hemorrhage in the ventricles of the brain.

The question of whether life is good or bad for such a child and his parents goes far beyond the authority of the UK and is in principle too painful and insoluble to be discussed here. However, the sad truth is that a professional doctor could really say that it would be better if the child died - and no, it would not be callousness, not hardening of the heart - it would be a professional understanding of what kind of hell parents have to go through.

However, I'm not talking about that now.

I mean that there is a God. And I even know the address where it is located: Moscow, Tekhnichesky per., 2. The name of this God is the Investigative Committee of Russia, and, as befits God, he is Omnipotent and Omniscient.

You will say that in this case we still have many gods: one sits in the Lubyanka, the other in the Prosecutor General's Office, and so on. I will object: it is the Investigative Committee that we have a plug for every barrel.

No matter what happens: the plane crashes, a dog bites someone, they complain in a direct line with the president that there is no water in the village, the UK is already right there.

Just as a well-known Old Testament character named Yahweh personally saw to it that Jacob's rams were well bred, so the IC personally understands everything from crashed planes to sewer wells. And while the planes are still falling, and the wells are still not closed.

This raises the question: why in the United States, where the Prosecutor's Office will definitely not deal with either, do not planes crash and wells are closed? Very simple.

The fact is that in the United States, all these cases - including the death of a premature baby in the hospital - are the realm of private civil lawsuits.

If the child's mother thinks that the doctors did not save him, she can sue them. Relatives of a girl who fell into a hatch can ruin an office that did not close the hatch. And the public prosecutor's office deals with real crimes: thieves and murderers.

In Russia, the opposite is true. The lion's share of everything that is proudly displayed on the UK website is devoted to "crimes" that either are not, or do not need professional investigation, or both.

Because, you see, there is no need for billing, fingerprinting and DNA testing in order to establish who owns a manhole into which a child has fallen. This is proved without multi-volume criminal cases filled with all sorts of protocols and certificates - in the course of the trial.

And after this process, the money and compensation goes to the real victim. And the possibility of a bribe is excluded.

If you look at the “victories” that the Investigative Committee boasts on the website, it turns out that they do not require professional investigation, corrupt investigators, and reduce their qualifications. But on the other hand, they provide every opportunity to put pressure on any commercial organization or to raise their status.

As a result, the Investigative Committee deals with sewer manholes, and there is no one to catch a criminal who systematically solders and robs passers-by in the center of Moscow (and works as a security guard at a nuclear power plant and calls himself a Mujahideen on the Web).
