Flooding in Kansk: the stories of the victims

In about 2 days, a 2-month rainfall fell in Kansk. People, as they can, save their gardens, houses, animals, and are forced to spend the night on the roofs.

Currently, 137 house plots remain flooded, in which 361 people live, of which 53 children live. In addition, 238 summer cottages are flooded.

The evacuated residents of the city are located at the point of temporary accommodation and among relatives. 112 rescuers and 23 units of equipment work on the spot.

According to the regional government, after the visit of Governor Alexander Uss to Kansk, it was decided to organize mobile public receptions for the victims in order to provide them with legal, social and psychological assistance.

Employees of the Social Protection Service, employees of the department for migration, traffic police inspectors, district police officers, representatives of the prosecutor's office and the Ministry of Emergencies work in the receptions.
