Why send a deep -sea station to dive 200 meters and why there were so many captains? About the tragedy - Pavel Felgenhauer

In the coming hours, all the names of fourteen officers who died in the Barents Sea will be known during the accident in the secret submarine of project 10831, which is in the status of a research vessel. Disasters in the underwater fleet happen regularly. But today the public interest is primarily the atomic deep-sea station of the AS-31 (the sailors gave it the nickname "Lorsar"), on which the emergency occurred.
The readers are clear, but it is almost unbelievable that we will learn something really specific about its design and appointment-this is the level of secrecy of this project. But even universally recognized information is impressive. The Soviet designers went to its implementation for a long time. Destroyer projects-1851 and 1910.
The idea of compiling a boat from the sequentially connected by the crossings of six -meter balls from the titanium alloy began to be embodied almost during the collapse of the USSR. As a result, characteristics similar to bathyscaphees were achieved. A special nuclear submarine rebuilt from the missile cruiser is carried through the Logarian ocean (it is believed that this is the Belgorod Penalized Policy, which is also read by the carrier of the Super -Loan Nuclear Torpedo Poseidon).
It should be noted that there is no weapon that can be used at depths of more than a kilometer today. In the 60s, an experimental torpedo apparatus was created in the USA, capable of shooting from a depth of two kilometers, but it never entered service, it was not able to make it completely safe. Almost certainly, the “horser”, as our sailors called the boat, is unarmed. It was not created for shooting, it is a research and intelligence ship.
It is impossible to hide the submarine in the space stuffed with sensors and satellites today. Nevertheless, our fleet almost succeeded: literally a couple of alleged photos “Horse” are known.
Therefore, most of the AC-31 characteristics found in the media the authors brought theoretically based on their knowledge. For many, they are limited to the law of Archimedes and the strength of the strength of metals.
In NATO, the depth of the dive “Horsary” is evaluated in different ways, numbers 3 and even 6 kilometers are found (weapons that can be reached at such depths until there is no longer). Some authors take the depth of dive literally from the ceiling - 1000 meters. At the same time, the Komsomolets tragically killed in the fire of the Premier League already had a calculated depth of 1250 meters. Her body was also built of a titanium alloy, but had a classic shape. Nevertheless, it is accurately known that back in 1985, it plunged 1030 meters. It is impossible to assume that our designers would begin to fence a garden from titanium balls for the depths reached 35 years ago.
However, the black page of the tragedy at the AC-31 atomic deep-sea station is the death of people, the elites of our fleet. Everyone understands that the profession of an submarine plunging at 500 meters is very risky. They are deservedly surrounded in any country by honor and respect of citizens. What to say about sailors diving for kilometers in experimental devices?
These specialists are not much more than astronauts. In Soviet times, they were called aquanauts, today - hydronauts. Some of them have to be in a sinked state for six months in boats with the processing of waste waste in a closed cycle, exactly like the astronauts for the ISS. According to one of them, "they are used to eating their own shit."
At the same time, they should know a lot (among these sailors there are many candidates of sciences) and understand that they can get the title of Hero of Russia and die in an accident with equal probability.
These are the best people of the country and call them banal saboteurs, as some authors do. There are no places where all saboteurs are captains of the first rank. And the academies of saboteurs do not end.
Here is how the situation (blocking the emergency compartment) that arose on the AS-31 describes, according to official messages, is our wonderful writer, submariner Alexander Pokrovsky, who opened the world of these people to the mass reader, in the chapter “I still remember ...”:
“I know that if something has happened, then you can’t run away from the compartment, you have to stay in it, lift the overhead door and fight for survivability, and if it’s“ something ”in the compartment of the neighbors and they jump out to you who are crazy, shaking, then your holy duty is to drive all of them back with kicks, lift it on the creamy and close it on the bolt.”
The media have already called four dead, among them the first -rank captain Andrei Voskresensky. We publish his photo, given the special public interest in this tragedy.
