The Nyandoma District Court of the Arkhangelsk Region recognized as lawful the policemen's refusal to initiate an administrative case on insulting the head of the Kargopolsky municipal district, Natalia Bubenshchikova. This is reported by the publication 29.RU.
Olga Baburina, registered in an emergency house, asked on the page of the administration of the Kargopol district on VKontakte when her house would be resettled. Bubenshchikova answered the woman that the resettlement would take place in 2019-2024.
“I was indignant and sent them, thereby insulting our deeply disrespectful administration. A statement was written against me to the police,” Baburina quoted 29.RU as saying.
On April 25, the police refused to initiate a case under the article on disrespect for the authorities (part 3 of article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), then the official tried to appeal this decision in court.
The specialist explained to the court that the expression posted by Baburina is rude, colloquial, but not offensive. On this basis, the court recognized the actions of the police officers as legal and refused to initiate a case against the official.
