Alexandra Vorobyov was arrested in the case of Gosizmen

The Lefortovo Court of Moscow arrested for two months the assistant to the envoy of the Russian Federation in the Ural Federal District Alexander Vorobyov in the case of the Stateizer, TASS reports . Earlier, the FSB announced the detention of Vorobyov, without mentioning his position.

Details of the case of the Stateizer are not disclosed. Vorobyov was arrested for a period until September 4, but lawyer Alexei Alianov plans to appeal the court decision.

In relation to Vorobyov, a criminal case was opened under Article 275 of the Criminal Code, the punishment of which provides for imprisonment for a term of 12 to 20 years.

Earlier, Alexander Vorobyov worked in senior positions in the Government of the Kaliningrad Region and the federal inspector for the Republic of Karelia. Awarded with a letter of thanks to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin .

According to the human rights association “Team 29”, for 20 years in Russia in cases of Stateizer and Spying, about 100 people were convicted.
