Mutko demanded the removal of the head of the district in the Irkutsk region, who sent utilities to pump water from his site

Vitaly Mutko demanded that the head of the Nizhneudinsky district of the Irkutsk region, Sergei Khudonogov, be removed from his duties, Interfax reports with reference to the press service of the Deputy Prime Minister.

The audit, according to the press service, confirmed that Khudonogov sent utility workers and equipment to eliminate the consequences of the flood near his cottage.

A video showing public utilities working on the personal plot of the head of the district was published on July 3 in the public “Overheard in Nizhneudinsk” on the VKontakte social network.

• The flood, which began in the Irkutsk region on June 25, affected hundreds of settlements. About 3.5 thousand families were left without housing. As of July 7, 22 deaths are known. Since July 3, the flood in the Irkutsk region has been declared a federal emergency.
• A government commission has been set up to eliminate the consequences of the flood in the Irkutsk region, headed by Vitaly Mutko.
• The cost of liquidating the consequences of the flood in the Irkutsk region is tentatively estimated at several tens of billions of rubles.
