Minister of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin called unacceptable the publication by the Central Bank of Rosstat data on inflation for June before the distribution of Rosstat.
Quote. "This is absolutely unacceptable. I will ask my colleagues from Rosstat and the Bank of Russia to conduct an internal investigation into this matter," Oreshkin said (Interfax).
- Rosstat publishes inflation dynamics at 16:00 Moscow time, today it appeared on the Central Bank website earlier.
- The data is important: estimated annual inflation slowed down to 4.7% from 5.1% in May, the June one became zero for the first time since the Soviet Union.
