The husband of the suspect in the theft of 20 million rubles of the Bashkir cashier lost money in gambling and counting on the help of viewers

The spouse of the bank’s employee in Bashkiria, suspected of embezzlement of 20 million rubles from the cash desk, lost this money into gambling. This was announced on Tuesday by TASS a source in law enforcement agencies of the republic.

"The spouse of the suspect said that he lost all the abducted money to gambling, while he intends to return their bank, hoping to soften the punishment for the suspect. He intends to go to Moscow to participate in a talk show on one of the federal television channels in order to apply for assistance in raising funds," the source said.

As previously reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on May 27, the representative of the Rosselkhozbank turned to the police. He spoke about the loss from the bank’s office in Salavat more than 20 million rubles. In involvement in the theft, the employee of the bank Louise Khairullin was suspected of born in 1983. As it turned out, she got out of work early, collected several cash packages and carried them out of the bank in a large bag. In the afternoon, during the change, she took two daughters from school, after which the family escaped from the city. The police in the house of Khairullina discovered scattered things, "as if the family was gathered in a hurry."

The Investigative Department of Bashkiria opened a criminal case under part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (assignment or embezzlement). Khairullin managed to detain in a rented apartment in Kazan, where she was hiding with her husband and children.
