Municipal election commissions refused to register 122 candidates for municipal deputies from Yabloko. About this publication Znak.com was told by the head of the Yabloko campaign headquarters in St. Petersburg Maxim Katz.

According to him, they refuse candidates in the Petrograd, Central and Moscow districts, as well as in the part of Vasileostrovsky. Refusals go in those districts where the probability of the victory of the “apple” is highly likely, Katz says. At the same time, 67 candidates from the Party of the election commission were still allowed to register.

A formal reason for refusal is errors in the documents submitted. At the same time, the commissions are saved from some documents, due to the absence of which they refuse candidates. This is stated by Katz and previously reported the candidates themselves. The worst situation, according to Katz, developed in the Petrograd district.

Other opposition parties face refusals. In particular, the Pulkovo Meridian refused to candidates from Fair Russia, the Party of Growth and the LDPR.

"Yabloko" intends to appeal the solutions of municipal election commission in the cityizburkom. However, according to Katz, the greatest chances of appealing the refusal of the party will be in the CEC. If the CEC does not intervene in the situation, the party will turn to the courts.
