
In the center of Moscow on July 15, a second mass action was held in support of independent candidates for deputies of the Moscow City Duma. About one and a half thousand people gathered on Trubnaya Square. They demanded that the opposition to the election. The action lasted about two hours, after which its participants began to diverge. The police did not use force, none of the protesters was detained. During the rally, there was a small skirmish between its participants and activists of the Prochrevsky movement of SERB - as a result, the police took them to a car carrier.
Municipal deputy Ilya Yashin said that he was officially removed from the election. Yashin arrived at Trubnaya Square from a meeting in the Moscow City Workshop (MGIK). He began his speech with the words: "I am in a rage, *****!" According to the opposition, at this meeting it became finally clear that his candidacy would not be registered, since too much marriage was found in his signature sheets. At the same time, Yashin claims that MGIK did not consider the written statements of citizens who confirmed the authenticity of his signatures. The voters who came to the election commander, according to Yashin, were not missed.
Shortly before the start of the action, independent candidates came to the Mosgorisbirkom to meet with his leader Valentin Gorbunov . They insisted at a joint public meeting in the presence of journalists, but received a refusal. Gorbunov suggested talking with each of the candidates individually, but they also did not agree. The lawyer of the Corruption Foundation (FBK) Lyubov Sobol, one of the candidates in the elections to the Moscow City Duma, said: “I am not ready to keep the curular secret meetings in the office for a cup of tea or whiskar.”
The first mass action with the requirement of registration of independent candidates was dispersed by the police. On July 14, about a thousand people gathered in the Novopushkin Square and then headed to the City Hall of the capital and the city election commander. When in the evening the protesters began to put the election of the tent at the buildings, the police used force. 39 people were detained, three of them went to the hospital . On some detainees, protocols on a violation of the procedure for conducting mass events were drawn up.
Oppositionists urge to enter stocks in the center of Moscow every day. The place and time of the gathering they declared - Trubnaya Square, 19:00. Ilya Yashin, on July 15, also stated that he was going to a rally, which will be held on July 20 on Sakharov Avenue. The rally is organized by the Libertarian Party, its application was agreed by the Moscow Mayor.
