Suspects detained in Kurdistan for murder of Turkish diplomat
Police in Erbil, the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan, have detained four people suspected of killing an employee of the Turkish Consulate General and two Iraqi citizens.
According to the Turkish Anadolu, the name of only one detainee is known - Mazlum Dag. The identities of others are not revealed. The Anadolu report refers to the suspects as "terrorists".
On July 17, an armed man attacked a restaurant located in Erbil. He killed an employee of the Turkish Consulate General in Iraq and two people who accompanied him.
