Grigorieva's body was found on July 21 - according to Fontanka , a few hundred meters from her house. According to the publication, she was stabbed eight times.
Fontanka wrote that a 40-year-old resident of Bashkortostan was suspected of the murder, but later, citing the Investigative Committee, reported that there was no suspect in the case yet.
According to Dinar Idrisov, Grigoryeva has recently been subjected to violence and faced death threats (from whose side, he does not specify). “Lena and her lawyer contacted law enforcement agencies both on the fact of violence and on the fact of threats, but there was no noticeable reaction from the police,” he said.
