The Black Heaven regime was introduced on the territory of the Novosibirsk region, the Altai Territory and Kuzbass due to the smog from forest fires that reached 1 million hectares. Enterprises should limit emissions.
Adverse weather conditions (NMU) were first declared in the Altai Territory, Kemerovo and Novosibirsk regions until July 26, the West Siberian Hydrometeorological Center reported on July 22.
Under the first NMU mode, industrial enterprises should reduce emissions by an average of 15-20%.
Earlier, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, the Tomsk Region and Khakassia was suppressed from forest fires. The authorities and the Ministry of Emergencies assured that the “small smoke with the smell of Gary” is safe.
