Zelensky's party can form a one-party majority in the Rada for the first time

The Servant of the People party of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky can get a one-party majority in the Verkhovna Rada and form a government on its own, without forming coalitions with other political forces and attracting self-nominated deputies.

Absolute majority. After processing 50% of the protocols, Zelensky's Servant of the People party is gaining 42.44% of the vote. According to the results of voting on party lists, half of the 450-seat Ukrainian parliament is formed. Another 225 deputies (minus 19 deputies from the districts of Donbass not controlled by Ukraine) are elected in single-mandate majoritarian districts.

• Party list voting gives the Servant of the People 121 mandates.
• In the majority vote, Zelensky’s party has no less advantage: according to the CEC of Ukraine, 115–120 candidates from the Servant of the People win in single-mandate districts.
• Such a result with a margin guarantees Zelensky's party the majority of 226 mandates necessary to form a government.

On Sunday, Volodymyr Zelensky proposed creating a coalition with the Holos party (led by the leader of the Okean Elzy rock group Svyatoslav Vakarchuk), which overcomes the five percent barrier. But Vakarchuk called the coalition talk premature.

In total, five parties will enter the Verkhovna Rada following the results of the elections held on July 21. According to the results of processing 43.36% of the protocols, Servant of the People (42.31% of the vote), Opposition Platform - For Life (12.79%), Batkivshchyna (8.08%), European solidarity” (8.7%) and “Voice” (6.39%).
