On July 22, the Pobeda low-cost airline launched the sale of travel packages to the destinations of its route network, reports Vedomosti . Now the airline has about 70 destinations, 25 of them are international. The tour includes airfare and hotel accommodation, optionally you can buy a transfer.
- Victory considers reliability and cheapness to be its main advantages: “When buying a tour from us, the client knows that Pobeda will not evaporate in six months,” says Andrey Kalmykov, CEO of the company. At the same time, the company hopes to offer tours 15% cheaper than the major players in the market. A purchased tour operator license can help with this.
- Technically, buying a tour works similarly to the booking.com website, when the client selects a room with a flight. "Victory" buys housing and, in fact, resells it to the buyer.
- The airline tested the sale of tours in April and May this year. In two months, Pobeda sold 1,500 tours. Now the company plans to sell 50,000 tours by the end of the year.
- Pobeda has no direct competitors among airlines. Before her, Aeroflot, S7 and Transaero had already unsuccessfully tried to sell tours. A low-cost airline may also face difficulties, mainly due to the low purchasing power of the population.
