"Shokoladnitsa" will launch a takeaway food delivery format (grab & go), Kommersant reported . New establishments are planned to be launched in a pilot mode in Moscow by the beginning of 2020. The company is also testing coffee delivery.
Details. "Shokoladnitsa" can open about 100 such outlets. Investments in the new project can range from 210 million to 600 million rubles. In addition, Shokoladnitsa also plans to introduce delivery from its establishments: the company is currently selecting premises for a separate kitchen factory and is testing coffee delivery together with the Delivery Club service.
Market. The sale of drinks and takeaway food is now one of the fastest growing segments in the public catering market: according to the 2GIS service, at the end of 2018, the number of such establishments in Russia increased by more than 15%. In the chain's Moscow coffee shops, the share of coffee to go is already approaching 30% of the total volume of orders.
The Shokoladnitsa network now has more than 500 establishments across the country, and revenue, according to its own data, is about 20 billion rubles.
