In Kungur, mothers of children with disabilities are called to the police

In Kungur, mothers of children with disabilities who came to the city festival in identical T-shirts in defense of the special school are called to the police. This was reported on the MBH Media website with reference to one of them, Svetlana Agapitova.

On July 21, the mayor of Kungur, Sergey Gordeev , wrote a statement to the prosecutor's office, demanding to check the actions of the mothers with a view to holding an uncoordinated public event. On July 22, he withdrew his application, but, according to Agapitova, by that time the materials from the prosecutor's office had already gone to the police for verification.

Agapitova noted that the revocation of the application was signed not by the mayor, but by another person.

• The building of the school for children with disabilities in Kungur, according to the publication 59.RU, was declared emergency. Residents of the city are worried that the school may be closed. This, in their opinion, will lead to the fact that children will not have the opportunity to receive education according to a program adapted for them.
• Diana Gurtskaya, head of the Commission for Family, Motherhood and Childhood Support of the Civic Chamber of Russia, said she would ask the prosecutor's office to check the mayor of Kurgan because of a complaint against parents of children with disabilities.
