Rutger Hauer died

In the Netherlands, actor Rutger Hauer died. He was 75 years old.

According to Variety, Hauer died at home after a short illness.

• The most famous roles of Rutger Hauer were in the 1980s, when he starred in such films as “Running Blade”, “Blind Fury”, “Night Hawks”. For the role of Alexander Pechersky in the "Escape from Sobibor" in 1987, he received the Golden Globe.
