The government called the law against Internet companies harmful

For the government, Deputy Gorelkin's bill to limit the share of foreigners in Internet companies came as a surprise, if not a shock, a federal official told The Bell.

Context. United Russia deputy Anton Gorelkin introduced a bill that proposes to limit foreign ownership of information resources that are significant for the information infrastructure of the Russian Federation to 20%.
