Taxi. The Yandex.Taxi service for the first time in history made a profit (423 million rubles) and increased revenue by 116%, to 8.8 billion rubles. The number of Yandex.Taxi trips from April to June 2019 increased by 49% compared to the same period in 2018.

Market. Yandex.Market (a joint venture between Yandex and Sberbank) recorded a 169% increase in revenue, to 3.9 billion rubles. A significant contribution to the increase in sales on Yandex.Market was made by the Beru marketplace, launched in May 2018 . Its monthly turnover exceeded 1 billion rubles, the monthly audience is 9 million people. In three months, about 700 online stores and manufacturers have connected to the service, the total number of stores on the platform exceeds 2.1 thousand. Sales of partners on Beru provide more than 30% of the total turnover, the marketplace plans to increase this share.

Company. The consolidated revenue of Yandex in the second quarter of 2019, excluding Yandex.Market, grew by 41% compared to the same period in 2018. Revenue amounted to 41.4 billion rubles, the company said. Net profit increased by 31% to RUB 6.9 billion.
Context. As Russia's largest tech company, Yandex aims to become an ecosystem and a dominant company in the daily lives of Russians, so it aims to move from online to offline and provide non-virtual products such as self-driving cars.
