Journalist Vladimir Kara-Murza has died

Journalist Vladimir Kara-Murza died at the age of 60. This was announced on Twitter by his son Vladimir Kara-Murza Jr.

The causes of death are not named.

• Vladimir Kara-Murza graduated from the Faculty of History of Moscow State University. Since 1992, he began working on television as an editor and correspondent for Yevgeny Kiselyov's Itogi program, first on Channel One and then on the newly created NTV.
• From 1995 to 2001, he hosted his own program Today at Midnight on NTV. In the future, this program went on TNT, TV-6 and RTVi. Collaborated with the radio stations "Echo of Moscow" and "Freedom".
• In 1996, Kara-Murza was awarded the Golden Pen of Russia prize by the Union of Journalists for his professional activities.
