On average, according to the Irkutsk government, water is at a speed of 10-25 cm in two hours. Five settlements were flooded in the Tulunsky district, 143 houses were injured, they specified in the district administration. There are 97 people in temporary accommodation points, including 32 children.

In the Slyudyansky and Shelekhov districts, the water level began to fall, the regional government press service specified.

In total, from July 27, when the second wave of the flood began in the Irkutsk region, 20 settlements in eight regions fell into the flooding zone. 475 houses are flooded in which about 2.7 thousand people live. “For preventive purposes, the evacuation of 12 children's health facilities was carried out, 10 of them in the Shelekhovsky district, two in the Slyudyansky district. 1902 people were evacuated, of which 1516 children, ”the Ministry of Emergencies added in the regional department.

Recall that at the end of June 2019, the flood covered the territory of the Nizhneudinsky, Taishet, Tulunsky, Chunsky, Ziminsky, Cheremkhovsky and Kuytun districts of the Irkutsk region. Almost 11 thousand residential buildings were injured, in which over 34 thousand people lived. 25 residents were killed, eight more are still listed as missing. About 3.7 thousand people turned to help for help, more than 650 were hospitalized, according to the latest information.
