Police searched Ilya Yashin's special detention cell

The police conducted a search in the cell of the special detention center where the unregistered candidate for the Moscow City Duma Ilya Yashin is being held. This was reported on his Facebook page.

“We were taken out into the corridor, they conducted a personal search, checked with a metal detector. Meanwhile, two policemen turned everything upside down in the cell: gutted the bedding, shredded clothes and grocery bags, examined the contents of the trash can, ”said Yashin.

The politician also added that special attention was paid to notebooks in which he and Navalny's headquarters coordinator Oleg Stepanov, who is serving time with Yashin, made personal notes.

On July 29, Yashin was arrested for 10 days by decision of the Shcherbinsky District Court under the article on organizing uncoordinated events (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) for an action on July 27 on Trubnaya Square. The next day, the Troitsky District Court sentenced him to 10 days under the same article for inciting him to participate in the action on July 27, which began on Tverskaya Square. The terms in this case are not summed up, but calculated simultaneously, so Yashin must spend 10 days in custody.

The Troitsky District Court began to consider the case of Yashin on July 27, but postponed the consideration to the 30th.
